Aarbakke and Rosenberg working together to create jobs
A working relationship between Aarbakke and Rosenberg is set to create 140 new jobs and boost revenues by NOK 200 million.
A working relationship between the Rosenberg Worleyparsons AS shipyard in Stavanger and the mechanical specialist Aarbakke AS in Bryne is to put both companies in a better position to land bigger contracts from the oil industry and related sectors. The two companies will join forces in order to take on jobs in the field of underwater solutions – also known as the “subsea market”. Rosenberg manufactures products such as seabed frames, and Aarbakke is skilled in producing the equipment mounted in these frames.
By working closely together, the companies anticipate being able to reduce costs by as much as 10–15 per cent.
“We hope that we’ll be able to cut costs by giving customers a single supplier to work with, rather than several. At the same time, we should be able to reduce logistical and administrative costs,” explains Inge Brigt Aarbakke, CEO of Aarbakke AS.
