Aarbakke video on EMO
Aarbakke surprised the Norwegian visitors with their video at Mazak’s stand at EMO 2017.
In the film, which was shown at the Japanese machine manufacturer Mazak’s stand, Inge Brigt Aarbakke explains how his machining business and Mazak joined forces to create a smart manufacturing plant in Jæren, Norway. The cooperation between Mazak, their client Aarbakke AS and the IT company Cisco Systems, is a world first.
“We have been working with digital data capture for 15 years, but now the time has come for further processing of the data,” Inge Brigt Aarbakke says.
Aarbakke plans to include his entire supplier network in this venture. “We will not succeed unless all partners are included,” he adds.
